Playlist for Deep Adaptation
January 16 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm UTC
One event on January 16, 2022 at 4:30 pm
One event on March 27, 2022 at 4:30 pm
When: Sunday 4:30-6:00 pm UTC, 11:30am EST, 8:30AM PST, your start time here.
What: You are invited to share musical pieces that speak to you about your experience of Deep Adaptation. (You can also simply listen to others’ offerings.) Your music can evoke the experience of loss, support you in finding comfort or strength, or it can represent where you are in relation to DA.
**To share your musical choices, you must email them at least 24 hours before the event begins to Danny at firstname.lastname@example.org.** They can be in any format but we strongly prefer pieces found on Spotify. Email with subject: DA Playlist. Ideally the song length is 3-6 minutes.
Sharing music builds community by expressing our inner worlds. We will listen together to the music that speaks to each of us. Each person who shares a piece will be invited to speak about what it means to them if they wish. While listening, you may dance, lay on the floor, sit with your eyes closed, sing along, journal, whatever feels right for the moment.
How to join: Register here to receive the Zoom link.
Who: Danny Joseph lives in Philadelphia. He is a musician and music therapist in training. This event is hosted by DA Facilitators, who lovingly volunteer their time and expertise for events as their way of honoring DAF’s mission, embodying and enabling loving responses to our predicament.
