Welcome to EVENTS in the Deep Adaptation Forum. Skilled facilitators and community members lovingly offer these events to promote community, understanding, support, and inner and outer adaptation to climate disruption. Most events are via Zoom.
All events are for persons over 18 who recognize the likelihood of societal collapse from climate change and environmental degradation and agree to abide by DAF's Charter.
Times are “UTC.” Your time zone is highlighted in yellow in the top right corner of this page. You can check each event description for the start time in your time zone.
Most events are free, but we do have costs. Please donate to the Deep Adaptation Forum here.

Whatever your journey has been in Deep Adaptation, you are welcome. Many people arrive here in a state of bewilderment or desperation, having recently come to an awareness of the magnitude of the crisis that is unfolding. And stay because this space offers a quality of kindness, compassion, vulnerability and support that is rare and precious, and embodies the values we want to see in the world. Deep Listening gatherings are a safe space in which to show up exactly as you are, share from the heart, and practice the sacred act of listening, deeply and without judgment. Feel better resourced and practise being a resource for others.
This gathering may be for you if you
- have recently become awake to the reality of the unfolding climate crisis, and are experiencing fear, disorientation
- are feeling isolated in that awareness, having few or no-one amongst your friends and family that you feel you can share openly with
- may have found yourself stuck in any of the stages of grief, and need to share your howls of rage, or tears of loss, or just sit in numbness
- have none of those feelings, but want to show up, share, and listen to others.
Please come on time, and plan to stay for the full two hours.
**If you are currently in crisis emotionally or psychologically, this session is not appropriate. In case you are feeling overwhelmed, or think that you might be at risk because of these emotions, here is a resource that may help you cope better in the moment: shorturl.at/euG03. And here is a link to other sources of emotional support in the face of climate tragedy: https://jembendell.com/2018/07/26/emotional-support-in-face-of-climate-tragedy/ .**This event is hosted by DA Facilitators, who lovingly volunteer their time and expertise for events as their way of honoring DAF’s mission – embodying and enabling loving responses to our predicament.
